Featured Sled Section - Archives III January 23 - February 22, 2006  1970 Ski-Doo Olympique Custom Owned by Reid Covey Constableville, NY  1970 Puma MOD 793 This project has taken 10 year. Ed is 26 years old and has been restoring sleds for about 11 years. This is a clone but is built with many NOS parts. It is as close as Ed could get with his limeted funds. Owned by Ed Vigneault Windsor, VT   1975 Arctic Cat El Tigre 440Z Kirk
built this sled in a month and a half for the Ovals in Canaan,NH that
were cancelled. It has Danny Johnson aluminum skis, multi leaf springs,
nos rubber track from a 79 El Tigre 6000, 76z rear suspension. Kirk
built the 440 modified motor himself, it has booster port super mod
cylinders, 46mm carbs, hand built open pipes, Polaris clutches, ZR
chain case and wave brake rotor. This sled is fast and will be ready
for Canaan next year.
