  • Alliston Vintage Sled Show
With 108 sleds in attendance, it was an awesome day for the Alliston Vintage Sled Show. They were the host of the Antique and Classic Snowmobile Club of Canada's Sleigh Daze show this year. The swap at this years show was great. There were some great finds such as a Mercury leather racing suit and ORPS was on hand selling Arctic Cat and Merc parts. Gregg Spaulding came all the way from MN to sell his repro parts and of coarse Monty was selling his videos and books. They would love to thank all who made the effort to attend the show and bring out some awesome machines for everyone to see. The show ended with trophy presentations honoring John Gowing for Sleigh Daze Over-all Champion with his 1948 Eliason and the People's Choice Award (Kyle Andrews Memorial Award) went to Joe Kutcher with his 1965 Bolens Hus-ski. For more details and pictures go to their Website. They are already hard at work on next years show and have some neat ideas. Next years event, the 3rd Annual Alliston Vintage Sled Show will be August 11, 2007. EmailShawn Horner for more details on next year's show.

  • Model T Restoration Fund Update
Thanks to a few generous donations and some money set aside by the museum directors, we are well on our way to raising the funds to completely restore our Model T Ford White Snowmobile. We know the project will be the most expensive venture we have undertaken to date. Although an exact price is not known, we can imagine it may be in the neighborhood of $5,000 - $10,000 depending on the extent of the project. We are looking for donations of all sizes, and will post our donation total as it grows. Do you have the disire or ability to donate a larger sum of money? If so, we have a few ideas. Want to have naming/advertising rights on the sides of the Model T truck bed? Want to have a brass name plate with your name on the rear bed of the truck? Want to make any size contribution just to help out? Have a service you can offer as a donation? If so, visit our Model T Restoration Page. Have a way you can help, shoot us an Email.
